An ancient ayurvedic program to naturally cleanse your body of toxins and restore its balanced and vibrant state

Ayurveda is NOT a diet or program of restriction, counting, or measuring. Ayurveda is an ancient Indian healing system focusing on bringing the body back into its natural balance. It is a conscious pathway to deep rejuvenation and nourishment. In our constant go go go culture, we train our bodies to function while undergoing chronic stress and anxiety.

There is a better way.

Imagine...

Feeling calm + grounded because your nervous system is at ease
An easy monthly cycle, without cramps or PMS symptoms
Sustaining your energy throughout the day without coffee
Boosting your metabolism to burn fat efficiently
Glowing + radiant skin
Making decisions with clarity
Sleeping soundly + waking up refreshed
Boosting your metabolism to burn fat efficiently
Feeling light, vibrant + colorful in your work and personal life

Stop for a breath.

What would it feel like to be deeply satiated-in body, mind, and soul. What could you create in your life from that place?

To feel satiated in your life, you need to respond to the needs of your body, first and foremost. As you age, your body needs more dedicated attention and support. The symptoms you experience are your body’s way of asking (ok, maybe demanding) that support. The more closely you listen to your body, the quicker you can make adjustments, and reset.

Yes, you can age gracefully. You just need help moving your body out of survival mode. To be willing to go deep.

Are you ready for a mind and body reset?

THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL, TRENDY CLEANSE

It's rooted in 5,000 years of ancient wisdom.

An Ayurvedic reset will show you how to cleanse and detox healthfully. Ayurveda teaches the necessity of a detoxification process in the transitional seasons (fall and spring) as a way to reset your metabolism to digest foods efficiently in the extreme seasons (summer and winter). Ultimately, Ayurvedic cleansing sets the stage for your body to heal itself.

Cleansing is a necessary part of maintaining a healthy fat metabolism and organ health. You especially want a very efficient running liver, as it performs over 500 vital functions. Imagine the impact on the body when that's sluggish. But a cleanse alone falls short.

An Ayurvedic reset is a conscious pathway towards optimal health and nourishment. You nourish your body not only with food, but also with your daily habits. Your body needs to digest everything you take in through your senses. This means what you see, hear, touch, taste and smell all impact you in profound ways. Strong digestion is the key to your physical, emotional and spiritual health.

I had always been curious about trying Ayurveda practices, but hesitated in taking the plunge, because it seemed like such a departure from all the "health" strategies I had always known. Carbohydrates were the enemy and restriction was the name of the game. I have always been a very active and athletic person, but despite that, it felt like my metabolism was catching up to me and I was carrying around 15 extra pounds that quite literally weighed me down- even my doctor casually suggested weight creep might just be a part of aging. After weeks of trying a new diet high in animal protein and restriction, my body felt terrible and I was struggling daily- just in time for Marissa to announce her glorious fall cleanse. She wisely said “these next 18 days will fly by, you may as well come to that end feeling incredible”- That was my calling!

The experience and outcomes were so much more than I could have hoped for. It was a complete 180 from everything I had ever done before (eating nourishing warm foods, grains, oats, vegetables, fats etc and eating to satisfaction- I never felt hungry and I never missed meat). I was completely surprised to notice I was naturally shedding the excess weight! But the grounding feeling of the cleanse was the most impactful. Life activities and situations that in the past brought on all kinds of anxiety (think complex family dynamics, chaotic kids’ parties etc) and would have me compulsively snacking or reaching for wine glass after wine glass; became a non-issue- I wasn’t feeling anxious, on edge, or “needing” anything- I was just there in those moments. As someone who has long struggled with anxiety, this felt like a new super power to me, and for that alone I am forever grateful to Marissa.

The lessons and wisdom Marissa shares during the cleanse are invaluable and she is truly there for you every step of the way. I am looking forward to taking these gifts of Ayurveda going forward into my life and am grateful that cleansing is a seasonal ritual which I will get to repeat!

Marissa came alongside me at the beginning of my cancer treatments. She offered me guidance and support tailored to what I would need for self care and nutrition. I'd often been intrigued by Ayurveda, but would quickly get confused trying to 'learn' it. I never felt like Marissa was teaching me, but through her gentle guidance, I found myself intuitively adopting Ayurvedic practices that have truly helped me. Once I ended the treatments and started eating and thriving again, I found such delight in moving through my day with more thoughtfulness and meaning. Little things, like the food on my plate, are delightful, because I sit down and eat without the usual stress-inducing distractions. The pillars of my healing journey became food, breath and sound which, without my knowing it, align with the Ayurvedic essences of ojas, prana and tejas. I'm grateful for the gift Marissa has given to me through her own practice.
This past year, I had gained a lot of weight in a short period of time, and just couldn’t shake it. My blood pressure and cholesterol were too high and my doctor wanted me to go on medication. My legs and ankles were swelling, I was dealing with fatigue in the afternoons and insomnia at night, and I had body odor for the first time in my life. Within a week of following Marissa’s recommendations, I began to feel significantly better in my body. A few months later, I went back to the doctor to retest. My cholesterol and blood pressure were back to normal. My energy is better, I’m able to fall asleep, and I no longer rely on coffee to get through the afternoons. This has been such a great experience that I’ve committed to implementing Ayurvedic practices in my daily life indefinitely. I couldn’t recommend Marissa more!

I was feeling blah. My skin was dry, my hair was dull, and my energy was low. I knew there were natural ways to improve my health but I didn’t know where to start (and yes, I googled it all!). My goal was to improve from the inside out naturally… enter Marissa. I was a little nervous to meet with an ayurvedic practitioner because I’m vegan and I thought that there were typically heavy uses of butter and ghee in Ayurveda. Marissa reassured me that Ayurveda is about the individual and what I need specifically.

After my time with Marissa, I have clear, simple action steps to improve my skin, hair, and energy levels. Marissa helped me understand what my body needs to function at a higher level, everything from a routine to topical treatments to self-care practices to supporting different organs that need a little love. I feel empowered to take control of my health through natural means. I 100% recommend Marissa to anyone who wants to feel more confident in their skin and all around better in their health by healing from the inside out. Her curiosity and wealth of knowledge will help you get to the root of your health questions.

My sudden body changes began 6 months after the pandemic started. I am a single mom working two jobs. Busy to say the least, not feeling well, and struggling to get through the day. I didn’t know what else to do, who to go to for help. I felt that it would be really difficult to implement any restrictive diets or treatments into my already extremely busy life.

When I started working with Marissa, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to make changes in my routine. However, Marissa dedicated an extensive amount of time to ask me specific questions regarding my health, feelings, needs, goals, and expectations. She really listened. The first major change I noticed was that my rashes were gone! My sleeping patterns changed. I can officially say that I can sleep 8 hours with no interruptions, and wake up with energy. My hair loss decreased significantly, and abdominal pains decreased as well.

Marissa really cares about her clients. She would check on me and follow up to see if there was a need to reassess the plan and if we needed to make any changes. Her approach is holistic, caring, and proactive. When I fell off the wagon, she was empathetic and gave me the tools to get back on it. She has been coaching me to be kinder to myself. That made a huge difference in how I approached my treatment.

Since working with Marissa, I have been mindful of not just what I'm eating, but how I'm eating it. Her specific insights about food mixing, as well as the attention paid to my meals has impacted how I eat and when I eat. I feel like that has had a positive impact on my digestion, and also generally my relationship with food. I look forward to eating, rather than treating it as a chore, or purely as an indulgence. When my digestion is better, my bowel movements are better. The older I get, the more I pay attention to BMs! If you're reading this, that's probably not TMI for you, A little attention (and a lot of greens) go a long way. She also has a lot of information about inflammation and inflammatory/anti-inflammatory foods which was great context for me, someone with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Inflammation is my enemy (like many others) and thinking about ways to key into my nutrition has definitely helped manage my conditions. My skin is clearer now than it has been in years, and my arthritis hasn't been worsening, which is a win for any chronic condition.
